The vision and the mission of Al-Khitab Compassion began with Pastor Mohammed W. Roba. Started in 2002, AKC is designed to work with the community globally and the minority to help them put their talents and skills to good use. Al-Khitab Compassion is a non-profit charitable organization recognized as 501©3.

AKC was incepted to help promote self-esteem and self reliability of the global community, the refugees, people with learning disabilities, mental illness, drug/alcohol abusers, ex-convicts and homeless community members through art & designing, counseling and training programs.

There is much to learn about Pastor Mohammed Roba. His vision and sacrifice has brought him to his current path in life. Helping others....help themselves.

Fighting persecution against the community and his own family. Him as a Christian lived in a Muslim community; Pastor Mohammed W. Roba started the Boran Education Children's Home & Rehabilitation Center 1996, to help bring hope to the surrounding community. Lives of abandoned children, AIDS orphans, the poor, illiterate, persecuted due to beliefs, and homeless have been improved immensely. Gamachu Cooperative Society, Borana Training Center, Al Wakill Children Street Ministries, Boran School for the Disabled, The Artists Corner etc... were all started to help the community at large and the minority.

How one gets involved? Every individual participates in helping another... every individual displays and portrays their God given talent and skills to make life better for all.
